The court has convicted two teenagers of arson with intent to endanger life after they attacked a restaurant with machetes and set it on fire.
On August 22 last year, the 17-year-olds stormed the Indian Aroma restaurant in Ilford, which was filled with customers and staff, and began pouring petrol on the floor, furniture, and diners.
One of the attackers taunted the customers while the other lit a taper, igniting a fireball that tore through the building.

The resulting fire ripped through the restaurant's ground floor, leaving a trail of destruction and injuring many people.
A witness described seeing a man whose entire body was burned, with skin 'peeling off'.
The police were able to track down the car used by the attackers and their mobile phones, which helped identify them.

The pair faced a seven-week trial and were found guilty of arson with intent to endanger life and possession of an offensive weapon.
They have been remanded in custody until October 2, when they will be sentenced.
Detective Inspector Emma Sharp praised the victims and witnesses for their resilience, saying that the attack had a profound impact on dozens of innocent people.
