Peter Andrews, father of Lee Andrews, has been detained at Al Awir prison in Dubai, placing him in the same facility as his son.
The two are reportedly facing fraud allegations and have seen each other behind bars following separate detentions.
Lee Andrews, 43, was returned to custody earlier this week over allegedly unpaid debts and is said to be raising funds to settle the outstanding amounts.

He is also reportedly subject to extradition proceedings while maintaining his innocence and hoping for release.
A source familiar with the situation described the developments as astonishing, noting both father and son are now imprisoned in the same location.
Lee is said to hope to pay off his debts, return to the UK, and rebuild his life, though the legal turmoil is straining his relationship with his wife.

Friends have reportedly urged the former glamour model to distance herself from the relationship amid the ongoing crisis.
The couple is also said to be in a dispute over a seven-month-old Pomsky puppy, reportedly in the care of Lee's former partner, who has refused to return it.
The wife, 48, has not publicly commented on her husband's detention or the allegations involving his father.
