White House Releases Election Integrity File Details

White House Releases Election Integrity File Details

The White House released a collection of election-integrity documents Thursday night following a primetime address by President Donald Trump. The documents, which address alleged voting-system vulnerabilities, China's alleged acquisition of U.S. voter data, a Michigan voter-registration investigation, and noncitizens on state voter rolls, are organized into four categories and include intelligence assessments, FBI files, and Department of Homeland Security-related summaries.

The release gives the public access to records the White House alleges support Trump's renewed push for election reforms, including voter ID and proof-of-citizenship requirements. The four document categories are "Vulnerabilities in Electronic Voting and Ballot-Counting Systems," "China's Acquisition and Exploitation of American Voter Data," "Michigan Voter-Registration Investigation," and "Noncitizens on State Voter Rolls." The files span from January 2020 to June 2026.

The White House claims the documents include previously classified intelligence assessments and warn that U.S. adversaries could compromise election infrastructure, including voter-registration databases, pollbooks, and election websites. A separate section alleges China acquired hundreds of millions of U.S. voter files, while another highlights FBI files tied to an alleged voter-registration operation in Michigan.

During his address, Trump claimed that electronic voting machines are vulnerable and easily compromised, a claim that Fox News has not yet been able to verify. Trump said that the vital information had been covered up and hidden from the public for many years, but that would change with the release of the documents.

The White House says the files were gathered by the Government Transparency Taskforce and reviewed by top intelligence agency chiefs, who have personally verified their authenticity. The release comes as Trump has intensified his election-integrity push ahead of the midterms, calling for voter ID, proof-of-citizenship requirements, and Senate passage of the SAVE Act.

Trump previously signed an executive order aimed at requiring proof of citizenship on federal voter registration forms, but federal judges have blocked key portions of the order while the House-passed SAVE Act remains stalled in the Senate. Trump told Americans Thursday, "No trust, no greatness."
