Alfie and Bradley, exploring Central America and documenting their adventures, were enjoying a meal when they spotted a familiar face – Harry Lineker, Gary’s son, accompanied by his wife. A simple, friendly greeting to Gary himself, as he walked by, quickly unfolded into an interaction they described as “nice and innocent.”

“The clip has been used out of context, which is a shame,” Bradley explained from Guatemala, frustration evident in his voice. “We like Gary Lineker, even if his political views are controversial. It was a nice interaction that ended up being taken without our permission and used to slander him.”

Alfie lamented the nature of the internet, stating, “Once something is out there, it’s out there. With TikTok, some things go viral and others don’t. We’ve just done all we can to show that this was a wholesome interaction and no slur on Lineker at all.”
Lineker himself responded with quiet dignity, revealing he was simply on his way to a pharmacy with his daughter-in-law to get medicine for his son. He added a poignant reflection: “Hatred is a dreadful weakness.”
