TOILET EXPLOSION: Outback Steakhouse Facing BRUTAL Lawsuit!

A routine trip to an Outback Steakhouse in Ocala, Florida, turned into a nightmare for Michael Green when the toilet beneath him unexpectedly shattered, sending him crashing down.

On March 26th, Green was using the restroom when, according to his lawsuit, the porcelain throne in the handicap stall suddenly gave way. The collapse resulted in what he describes as “severe bodily injury,” instantly transforming an ordinary moment into a painful ordeal.

Legal documents detail accusations of negligence against the restaurant, alleging a critical failure in basic maintenance. Green’s attorneys claim the restaurant didn’t adequately inspect or secure the toilet to the floor, creating a hidden and dangerous hazard.

The lawsuit further asserts that Outback Steakhouse either knew about the precarious condition of the toilet or should have known, and failed to take any action to warn customers or rectify the problem. This alleged inaction directly led to Green’s devastating fall.

The consequences of the incident have been profound. Green is reportedly suffering from significant and lasting physical damage, including potential loss of bodily function and permanent scarring, alongside the emotional toll of pain and suffering.

Beyond the physical and emotional trauma, Green has also incurred substantial medical expenses and lost wages, compounding the hardship caused by the restaurant’s alleged negligence. He is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 to cover these losses.

This legal battle unfolds as Outback Steakhouse itself is undergoing a major overhaul. The chain, founded in Tampa in 1988, recently shuttered 21 underperforming locations as part of a broader revitalization effort.

The parent company, Bloomin’ Brands, is now embarking on a “comprehensive turnaround strategy,” committing between $50 million and $75 million to improve various aspects of the dining experience. This includes enhancing food quality, streamlining the menu, and remodeling restaurants.

A substantial portion of the investment – roughly half – is earmarked for improving the quality of the steak itself, with significant changes planned for implementation by 2026. The company hopes these changes will reverse recent financial setbacks.

While the restaurant focuses on its future, Michael Green is focused on recovery and seeking justice for the injuries sustained during a seemingly harmless visit to the restroom.
