HOME RAID & HIGHWAY HORROR: Manhunt ON!

A quiet King Township neighbourhood was shattered in the early hours of Thursday morning when three masked individuals forcibly entered a home near King and Mill Roads.

The intrusion occurred around 1:45 a.m., escalating into a terrifying confrontation as the homeowner unexpectedly encountered the intruders. One of the suspects brandished a firearm, immediately heightening the danger.

Thinking quickly, the homeowner and his family managed to conceal themselves within the house, remaining hidden as the suspects moved through the residence. They waited, hearts pounding, until the intruders inexplicably vanished.

Three male suspects are pictured in a security camera video before a home invasion in King, Ont., on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026.

What sets this home invasion apart is the bizarre nature of the suspects’ departure. They fled in a dark-coloured sedan, leaving without stealing anything or issuing any demands – a truly unsettling anomaly.

Thankfully, no one within the home suffered any physical injuries during the ordeal, but the emotional impact of the invasion is undoubtedly profound. The family is now left grappling with the violation of their safe haven.

Police describe the suspects as three males, all clad in dark clothing and concealing their faces with dark balaclavas. This consistent description is a key element in the ongoing investigation.
