Patrick Clancy, the husband of Lindsay Clancy, is expected to testify on her behalf at the upcoming trial. Clancy, a 35‑year‑old former nurse, faces charges in the murder of her three children: Cora, 5; Dawson, 3; and Callan, 8 months.
Jury selection will begin Monday morning in Plymouth Superior Court as the case moves toward trial. Patrick Clancy is one of more than 200 potential witnesses who could be called to testify.
Clancy and her husband claim that doctors misdiagnosed and overmedicated her, leading to hallucinations that prompted her to kill her children. These allegations are central to lawsuits accusing medical professionals of failing to diagnose her escalating postpartum psychosis.
