The legendary World Series of Poker is returning to the heart of Las Vegas next summer, poised to deliver its most expansive and thrilling event yet. Beginning May 26th and continuing through July 25th, Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas will become the epicenter of the poker universe.
This year’s series promises an unprecedented 100 gold bracelets, awarded over two intense months of competition. Organizers are building towards an “unparalleled” experience, fueled by a dramatically expanded schedule, comprehensive daily live coverage, and a brand-new Circuit series designed to extend the action well into July.
The opening days are set to ignite immediate excitement, headlined by the inaugural Mini Mystery Millions. With a $550 buy-in and a guaranteed $1 million prize pool, this event is expected to draw massive crowds, mirroring the record-breaking attendance seen last year.
At the heart of it all remains the $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship – the Main Event. Play commences on July 2nd, culminating in the crowning of a new champion later in the month. Details regarding broadcast plans and the final table schedule will be revealed soon, but the Main Event will once again command the full attention of the poker world.
Fans will have unprecedented access to the action, as the WSOP will stream tournament play live and free every day, from the very first card dealt through the start of the Main Event, directly on their official YouTube channel. A state-of-the-art broadcast set within Paris Las Vegas will provide the backdrop, featuring insightful commentary from prominent figures in the poker community.
Beyond the marquee events, the 2026 schedule boasts a diverse range of formats to satisfy every player. From intense Heads Up No-Limit Hold’em Championships and massive Monster Stack events, to high-stakes tournaments and intricate mixed-game competitions including Dealer’s Choice, there’s something for everyone.
A new Summer Circuit series will overlap with the bracelet events, running from July 14th through July 25th. This allows players to seamlessly transition into WSOP Circuit tournaments, maximizing their time and value in Las Vegas without interruption.
This expansion reflects a broader international strategy for the WSOP, with additional stops already announced across Europe, Latin America, and Asia. The goal is to maintain the brand’s momentum and engagement throughout the year, extending beyond its traditional Nevada focus.
The Player of the Year race is also receiving a significant boost, with a total award pool of $1 million, including a $100,000 package for the overall winner. The competition will kick off months prior to the Las Vegas series, beginning with WSOP Europe in Prague from March 31st to April 12th, establishing a truly global starting point.
The announcement comes on the heels of Michael Mizrachi’s victory in the 2025 WSOP Main Event, further fueling anticipation for the upcoming summer. Registration details for the 2026 series are expected shortly, with the full schedule accessible through the WSOP+ mobile app.
The WSOP is committed to providing the ultimate stage for poker, promising more action and more opportunities than ever before, from the initial shuffle to the final champion’s celebration.
