As things get heated in theCelebrity Traitorscastle, a claim was made that an argument happened off-screen betweenStephen Fryand David Olusoga.
It was reported that a behind-the-scenes conversation between the two faithfuls led to a fall-out, as they accused one another of being traitors.
A TV source said it left other contestants in shock and became a ‘talking point behind the scenes’, as it was ‘surprising to see the pair disagree’.
The insider told theDaily Mail: ‘They were so invested in the game, and it really showed during their debates.’ But they added: ‘The discussions between them are unlikely to be shown on Celebrity Traitors, as producers felt they didn’t follow the narrative.’
Metrohas been told by theBBCthat these claims are false.
A spokesperson for The Celebrity Traitors said: ‘To claim there was any tension between Stephen Fry and David Olusoga outside of the game is simply untrue.’

Neither Fry nor Olusoga are traitors, but both suspect each other.
Inlast night’s episode,there was suddenly heat on historian, David Olusoga, who has flown mostly under the radar until now.
In a dramatic roundtable, David Olusoga and Mark Bonnar received an equal number of votes, meaning their banishment will be left ‘to the hands of fate’.
Both Fry and Olusoga voted for each other in the first round of voting.
As actor Stephen Fry voted for Olusoga, 55, he said: ‘I adore him, and I don’t want him to go’.
Joe Wilkinson,Jonathan Rossand Cat Burns followed sui,t voting for Olusoga.
Fry, 68, was also under the microscope as the faithfuls discussed who among them could be traitors.
Olusoga said: ‘I voted for Stephen, because he’s a genius and he’s playing the game with all of that genius.’
It’s thought by some, including Joe Marler, that Fry is ‘leader of the faithfuls’ and is one of two ‘big dogs’ in the game.
Marler has suggested thatClaudia Winklemanpicked two characters to lead the traitors and the faithfuls – Stephen Fry and Jonathan Ross.
Ross also received a vote at last night’s round table, from Celia Imrie, who said she thinks he has the ‘chutzpah and brilliance to be a traitor.’
