The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department acted swiftly, charging Morrow with making a terroristic threat. The accusation stems from disturbing online posts where she allegedly attempted to recruit individuals for a horrifying purpose: the assassination of Donald Trump.
Investigators discovered Morrow used social media to solicit potential assassins, specifically phrasing a request that seemed to prey on desperation. Her posts reportedly asked if a sniper facing a terminal illness might be willing to carry out the act, suggesting a lack of concern for the individual’s well-being.
The investigation didn’t stop there. Comments beneath Morrow’s original post revealed a disturbing escalation, with others suggesting additional targets for violence. Names mentioned included Stephen Miller, a former White House official, and prominent figures in the tech industry, Larry Ellison and Peter Thiel.
Sheriff RH Mellinger emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating the investigation is purely criminal in nature and devoid of political motivation.
