A scene unfolded at Miami International Airport as two women were escorted off an American Airlines flight, their dramatic exit punctuated by a display of remarkable flexibility.
Sania Blanchard, identifiable by her all-red outfit emblazoned with the word “PSYCHO,” and Jordan Danne Lantry were both handcuffed and led from the plane after causing a disturbance in first class.
Video footage captured Blanchard loudly proclaiming her ejection was due to a seating issue, her words laced with frustration. Almost immediately, Lantry responded by dropping into a full split, a surprising reaction to the unfolding situation.
“Sorry, I just had to do a little yoga,” Lantry announced to the gathering onlookers, as officers assisted her back to her feet. The unexpected maneuver drew attention and a touch of disbelief.
Prior to boarding, the pair had already been attracting attention, performing headstands against a wall while a bystander inquired about their preferred positions. The playful, provocative atmosphere foreshadowed the events to come.
Further video showed Lantry singing, followed by Blanchard twerking in the airport concourse. Blanchard then proceeded to roll down the jet bridge while straddling her carry-on, claiming a disability.
Once on the plane, the women brazenly acknowledged their potential for trouble. Lantry joked about being kicked off, a prediction that quickly materialized when a flight attendant requested their boarding passes.
“No, we don’t!” Lantry retorted, adding, “Obviously, we’re drunk and you guys don’t want to deal with us.” Her statement escalated the situation and confirmed the flight crew’s concerns.
Police ultimately charged them with trespassing after issuing a warning. They were briefly detained at the county jail before being released.
Remarkably, the following day, the two were seen boarding another American Airlines flight. Lantry later stated they were “forgiven because we’re hot and know how to do the splits.”
The incident didn’t end with their release. The pair quickly capitalized on the notoriety, launching a line of merchandise featuring their mugshots, branding the experience as iconic.
Lantry announced that customers who purchased the “mugshot merch” and provided proof of purchase would receive a complimentary “special video,” further leveraging the attention garnered from their airport escapade.
